Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
MVP-Factory (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is operated by Educhain. You can reach us at mvp@educhain.io. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle the information you share with us when you use this website or contact us about a project.
2. What we collect
We try to collect as little as possible. The information we do collect comes from two places:
Information you give us directly
- Contact form data: name, email address, company or project name, the description of the workflow or project you want built, and any optional links or attachments you include.
- Email correspondence: any messages you send us at mvp@educhain.io, including the contents of those messages.
- Agency applications (if you apply to be an agency in our network): the name of your agency, links to your team page and shipped products, and any information you share during the application process.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data: your IP address, the type of browser and device you use, the pages you visit on our site, and the time of those visits. This is the kind of data any web server logs by default.
- We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or social-media pixels. If we add any of these in the future, this policy will be updated and we’ll request consent where required.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and reply to your project brief.
- To translate your brief into a structured spec we can send to agencies in our network for them to bid on.
- To match you with appropriate agencies based on your project description.
- To operate, secure, and improve this website.
- To meet our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone, ever.
4. Who we share it with
- Agencies in our network — we share your project brief with up to three vetted agencies so they can prepare a bid. We do not share more than what’s needed for them to quote, and agencies are bound by an NDA before they receive your brief.
- Service providers — we use a small number of third-party tools to run the business (email hosting, file storage, payment processing if/when applicable). These providers process data on our behalf under standard data-processing agreements.
- Legal compliance — we may share information if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
5. How long we keep it
We keep contact-form submissions and email correspondence for as long as needed to handle your inquiry plus a reasonable retention period for follow-up and record-keeping (typically 24 months from your last interaction). For projects that proceed to engagement, we retain records as required by tax and contract law.
You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see “Your rights” below.
6. Cookies and tracking
This site uses no third-party cookies, no analytics cookies, and no advertising cookies. The only cookies that may be set are strictly necessary first-party cookies used for things like remembering you submitted the contact form. If we add analytics in the future, we’ll add a cookie banner with consent options before doing so.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that’s inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Object to or restrict the way we process your information.
- Withdraw consent for any processing that’s based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email mvp@educhain.io with the subject line “Privacy request.” We’ll respond within 30 days.
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) including the right to know what we collect, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR including the rights listed above. Our legal basis for processing is generally either your consent (when you contact us), our legitimate interest (in operating the business), or a contract (when we are working on a project together).
8. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data — HTTPS in transit, access controls on our internal tools, and least-privilege principles for who can read what. No system is 100% secure; if we ever experience a breach affecting your information, we’ll notify you in line with applicable law.
9. Children
This site is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information through our site, please email us and we’ll delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. If we make material changes, we’ll attempt to give reasonable notice (e.g. by email or a prominent notice on the site) before they take effect.
